GIS Teaching and Educational Project

At the end of each day, teachers take the time to chat briefly with parents as they drop off their children. These special moments provide an opportunity to discuss the children’s well-being and how their day went, and to establish a simple and regular dialogue.

BI-MONTHLY INFORMATION

Every two months, families receive an illustrated summary of the highlights, activities and learning experiences in the classroom. This document allows parents to closely follow their child’s school life.

PERSONALISED INTERVIEWS

Twice a year, individual meetings are held between teachers and parents. These in-depth meetings review the pupil’s development, behaviour and achievements.

PERMANENT AVAILABILITY

Beyond these regular meetings, teachers and management are always available to respond to families’ needs upon request.

OUR DIGITAL COMMUNICATION POLICY

Aware of the challenges associated with social media, we have chosen not to use mainstream platforms, which we consider to be ephemeral communication tools that are ill-suited to our educational mission. This choice is also motivated by our desire to be a role model for our students, encouraging them to favour reliable and sustainable sources of information.

All school news is therefore shared in a clear and sustainable manner via the « news » page dedicated section on our website.

LINKEDIN: PROFESSIONAL USE
LinkedIn is used exclusively to promote our partnerships with external stakeholders and for human resources management, thereby helping to enhance the quality of our teaching team.

sharing classroom life

Genesis International School uses ToutemonAnnée.com, a digital platform dedicated to tracking classroom life. Parents can use it to view their child’s highlights: photos, messages from the teacher, documents, homework, etc.

This service now replaces sending photos via WhatsApp groups. All highlights will now be centralised on this platform, allowing families to access them freely and download the memories they wish to keep.

At the end of the year, it is also possible to order a personalised Yearbook, created from content shared throughout the year.

School carpooling

GIS encourages families to consider carpooling to facilitate commutes between home and school. This mode of transport saves time, reduces the number of vehicles on the road and limits CO₂ emissions, while promoting solidarity between families.

To support this initiative, we recommend the Scoléo platform, which offers a simple and secure service for easily organising shared journeys. However, each family is free to choose the solution that suits them best.

Parents' Association – Genesis Together

The parents’ association, Genesis Together, works closely with the teaching staff to support school projects, promote conviviality among families, and support initiatives that promote student well-being. It also provides a forum for discussion and participation for families who wish to get involved in school life.

If you have any questions or would like to join the association, please contact the Genesis Together representatives at the following address:
